The Art of Becoming a Great Boss
A Leadership Development Program for New and Aspiring Managers
Stepping into a leadership role is exciting and overwhelming. Most new bosses are asked to lead without formal preparation, and the result is predictable: uncertainty, avoidable mistakes, and talented people leaders who feel like they are learning through trial and error.
The Art of Becoming a Great Boss is a cohort-based leadership development program designed specifically for new and aspiring supervisors. We combine practical tools, self-awareness, and real conversation so leaders build the habits and confidence to lead teams, build trust, and drive results.

Who the Program is For
This program is ideal for:
New managers and supervisors with less than 3 years managing people
Aspiring leaders who anticipate moving into a leadership role in the next 6–12 months
Organizations strengthening their leadership pipeline
How the Program Works
Boss Builders uses a blended format designed for real-world application.
Prework (approximately 60 minutes): short videos, readings, and reflection prompts
Live sessions: interactive, discussion- and practice-focused sessions (not lectures)
Application: participants leave each session with a clear plan for what they will try on the job
Boss Builders cohorts are intentionally small and interactive. Participants are expected to actively participate and complete the prework prior to each live session.
What Participants Gain
Participants obtain practical skills they can apply immediately, including how to:
Lead with clarity and credibility
Build trust, reduce friction, and strengthen team dynamics
Communicate expectations and priorities consistently
